In a search for some old photos of my children, I rediscovered an old Flickr account and found myself down the very happy rabbit hole of beautiful memories. One album was my study of Park Guell. The rational behind the study was to create my own Gaudi creation with broken pieces of porcelain. (Of course, in those days I had a lot more broken bits of everything.) Park Guell at M.S.Warren
I guess it's pretty typical for a person to search for the good in her new home. I don't mean the house itself, but the neighborhood, the town, the greater metropolitan area. I'm now in Northern Virginia and the city of my birth is right next door. This particular location is where my daughter and I find inspiration.
It's the National Gallery of Art and we consider it our own cozy view into the world.
